At the intersection of Conner and Jefferson in Detroit is the 3,000,000 square foot FCA Jefferson North Assembly Plant. This factory has been running virtually non-stop since opening in 1991 with more than 5,000 employees building Jeep Grand Cherokees and Dodge Durangos. Replacing the Chrysler Jefferson Avenue plant across the street, Jefferson North has won awards for productivity and safety.
