  • Event Description: The Ford Piquette Plant will host a history on the importance of the Milwaukee Junction neighborhood to the beginnings of the automotive industry. Milwaukee Junction, just east of the New Center, had automakers including Ford, Dodge, Cadillac, Studebaker, Anderson Electric and others, laid the foundation for Detroit becoming the automotive capital of the world. This event will take place at the museum and includes a complimentary crostini bar, followed by a theater presentation on the history of the area. Guests are then invited to enjoy a deep dive into the museum’s collection of rare antique vehicles all made in Milwaukee Junction. Tickets are $35 per person or $30 for museum members.
