Garden City woman wins 1968 Ford Galaxie Convertible from MotorCities’ Classic Car Raffle
Connie Victor of Garden City was the name drawn by Westland Mayor William WIld at the Raffle Cruise held last month at the Westland Historic Village. As a result, she is the winner of a red 1968 Ford Galaxie Convertible, courtesy of MotorCities National Heritage Area Partnership.
The Galaxie, which features a Ford 390 V8 engine and automatic transmission, was donated to MotorCities by Karen Tafralian of Southfield, who was the third owner of the vehicle and purchased it in 2006 from a family in Ohio. Proceeds from the raffle benefitted MotorCities.
