The Viper Assembly Plant

At the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant there are three words on the front door - Detroit, Handcrafted, Horsepower. The plant was originally built in 1966 to produce spark plugs, but in 1995 the Chrysler Corporation decided to start producing the Viper. The Viper is known as the ultimate American sports car.
