The Courage of Rosa Parks

In 1955, Rosa Parks was arrested because she refused to give up her seat on a Montgomery, Alabama bus to a white man. Ms. Parks confronted segregation laws, aroused the civil rights movement, and challenged America to complete its unfinished business - true equality of rights and opportunities for all people. The bus gained its own stature as a symbol of courage and freedom now on display at The Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan.
