Olds Returns to Lansing

On March 9, 1901, a fire had destroyed the new Olds Motor Workd plant in Detroit and the Lansing Business Men's Association offered Olds land that was originally meants for hosting the State Fair. Olds took the opportunity and the new plant produced Oldsmobiles until 2001, after being bought by General Motors in 1098.
