Nominations for MotorCities Annual Awards of Excellence Due Tuesday, October 30
You have less than two weeks to complete your nominations for the MotorCities National Heritage Area’s 2018 Awards of Excellence.
On Thursday, December 6, MotorCities will honor nine finalists who have distinguished themselves in the areas of auto and labor heritage with its 5th annual 2018 Awards of Excellence.
A winner in each of the three categories -- preservation, education and tourism -- will be announced during Michigan Auto Heritage Day, an invitation-only event for state lawmakers in the Capitol Building in Lansing.
The deadline for the 2018 Awards of Excellence nominations is Tuesday, October 30. Self-nominations are accepted.

Michigan Automotive Heritage Day & the Awards of Excellence began in 2014 and has become an annual opportunity to celebrate the story that can only be told in Michigan: How this area "Put The World On Wheels."
